SweetBuy Stores ("we", "us") operates sweetbuystores.com and sells products delivered across Nigeria with payment on delivery. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
Order details: your name, phone number, delivery address, state/LGA, and the product you ordered — provided by you when you place an order.
Messages: WhatsApp messages you exchange with us about your order (order confirmations, delivery updates, and your replies).
Basic usage data: standard web analytics on our pages (via the Meta Pixel) used to measure advertising effectiveness.
Scrambled order details sent to Meta: when you place an order, your name and phone number are scrambled (hashed) in your browser and sent to Meta with the order event. Meta cannot read the scrambled values. We use this only to tell which advert brought your order, so we stop paying for adverts that do not work.
How we use it
To confirm, process, and deliver your order.
To send you order updates on WhatsApp (confirmation, shipping, delivery-day reminders).
To prevent fraudulent or mistaken orders.
To measure and improve our advertising.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We do not send you unrelated marketing without your consent, and you can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP.
We do not store card or bank details — payment is in cash or by transfer on delivery, or through Paystack's secure checkout, which handles payment data on its own systems.
Sharing
We share your delivery details with the fulfilment partner who ships and delivers your order, and message you via WhatsApp's Business Platform (Meta). We also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your name and phone number when you order, so we can tell which advert worked; the scrambled values cannot be read back into your details. We do not sell your data, and we share it with nobody else. These providers process your data solely to provide their service to us.
Retention & your rights
We keep order records for our business and legal purposes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
